I have recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with an Associate of Science, with highest distinction, 4.0 GPA, a Bachelor of Liberal Studies, Summa Cum Laude, , plus a 2007 President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement with an overall 4.0 GPA. I am currently enrolled at Bowling Green State University pursuing a Masters Degree in Special Education, Intervention Services, Mild to Moderate. The strengths that I bring are (1) Reliability - I can be counted on when needed (2) Commitment-I will give 110% of myself to whatever I decide to do, and (3) Diversity—I bring a multicultural perspective, because I was born in southern Italy, lived in Toronto, Canada, and traveled extensively-Western Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. I speak near-fluency in Spanish and I am also fluent in Italian, which is my native language. I want to make learning fun and enjoyable for children so that they look forward to returning and wanting to learn more. I also believe that it is important to treat every child with respect, so that they will reciprocate it to their peers, family members, instructors, and so on. All children should be treated as prized possessions and “diamonds in the rough.” They need to be molded and shaped into being the best they can be. I always keep in mind that each and every child is unique and different, while remembering that all children should be treated equally.
